My name is John Gaudry (or Jean-Luc Gaudry- if you are French). In September 1995, I opened a punk store in Los Angeles: Headline Records. Over the years, I organized almost 500 shows inside the store. Unfortunately, in October 2003, during one of the shows, the Fire Marshall showed up and closed the store for the night, for lack of the “proper” permits. (live music / entertainment license).
For many years, I wanted to do a blog about “Anything and Everything”. The punk philosophy is in my blood, and I live it every day. Sometimes, I have conflicts about the way I think. Human nature is not perfect. I’m very very open-minded, and I like to talk about anything– of course, (like anybody) I have my own opinions and sometimes we won’t agree about certain things. Different point of views are very important to “grow” your mind. One of the most important “rules” on this blog is Respect. If you think I’m wrong about something, I don’t know what I’m talking about… or whatever- I invite you to express it in the comment section. I won’t be offended. The purpose of this blog is to express opinions and share viewpoints.
Thanks – John
